Ballina Beach Resort, Compton Drive, East Ballina has been chosen as the most suitable venue for hosting the 2003 conference. The resort is a low level set of buildings in 3 acres of lovely gardens. Access from the accommodation to the conference room is easy and close.

Delegates are offered the latest in conference room technology. Break out groups have a range of alternative locations within the grounds of the resort and surrounding parks and beaches.

A conference dinner will be held on the first night, Thursday 24th July, in Beaches Restaurant.

Recreational facilities include a pool, indoor spa, sauna and tennis court. A cycling and jogging track is located a short distance from the motel.

Ample off-street parking is offered in this resort which is near the main beach and well away from main roads or highways.

Situated minutes from Ballina Airport and less than 1 hour’s drive from Coolangatta Airport.

Please check the Conference Links section for full information about Ballina and the surrounding areas including Byron Bay (20 minutes) Lismore, Alstonville, Lennox Head all of which are close by and conference delegates may choose to stay in or visit any of these towns.

However, we would recommend that part of the conference is the meeting and talking with others in and connected to the industry and that the accommodation at the Ballina Beach Resort caters for singles, couples, and families and would offer a very relaxing way of spending free time.
